MilaGold

Colour as a language for the feelings we cannot always put into words.

The world of Mila Gold

When colour becomes feeling.

Mila Gold is a self-taught contemporary artist based in Ireland. Her work explores emotion, colour, energy, memory and dreams through intuitive acrylic painting.

She does not begin with a sketch. She works with her hands, responding to movement, texture and the moment — allowing colour to find its own path across the canvas.

The story behind the art

“Many of my paintings come to me in dreams. I recreate them exactly as I saw them — colour by colour, breath by breath.”

For Mila, painting is not simply representation. It is a way to hold an experience, translate an inner state and connect with the world when words are not enough.

About Mila Gold

Art as a way to connect.

Mila Gold is a Ukrainian-born self-taught visual artist now based in Ireland. Her practice grew from a period of profound upheaval, when colour became a way to express what could not be said.

Working mainly with acrylic pouring, she embraces emotion, intuition and freedom. She does not use sketches or pencils, painting with her hands, feelings and the raw intensity of the moment.

For Mila, fluid art is not control, but a dialogue with matter — allowing colours to choose their path, their form and their destiny on the canvas.
